TPO, or thermoplastic polyolefin roofing systems, are ideal for the unpredictable weather patterns in North Texas. These systems are UV and heat resistant, comprising three layers: a polymer base, a polyester-reinforced fabric center (scrim), and a top ply of thermoplastic polyolefin compound. One of the appealing features of TPO roofing is its reasonable cost, so as we consider its energy efficiency along with cost benefits, it is a win-win for large warehouse properties and all commercial buildings. It is mold resistant, tear and puncture resistant, and does not accumulate dirt. These products are made with wider sheets and are light weight. This means fewer seams and a lighter roofing structure, ultimately transferring direct savings to the building owner.
